XML Data Source

The XML connector mainly aims at retrieving email addresses from eCommerce Shops like osCommerce or Oxid. Indeed, using this wizard, you can only connect to XML format used by the ADO or ADO.NET recordset. If you want to read more on these formats, visit the Microsoft Library web pages dedicated to the ADO recordset or to the ADO.NET recordset.

When selecting XML Data Source, the wizard lets you enter the URL where the XML file containing the email addresses is located. The URL type can be http or https and can be secured by a password.

Note that if you want to retrieve data from XML file with a different format, you can use the DataSource Object in the Global Script (read more by openning the XML DataSource sample, File -> Open Sample).
