The eMill Message Tracking Redirector Version 1 is an autonomous module in form of
an ISAPI extension that must be installed on a public Microsoft Internet Information
Server (IIS) 5 or 6. When launching the setup program, it will install the ISAPI extension dll
and the MMC Snap-Ins for the IIS Manager.
Installation:
Step 1. Before launching the installation of the eMill Message Tracking
Redirector Version 1 it is necessary to create a user account dedicated to the
tracking with very limited rights. It aims at securing the communication between
the eMill server and the Web server where clicks and openings are collected.
Step 2. Run eMillTrkSetup.exe or double click on the "eMill Message
Tracking Redirector Setup" shortcut on your desktop and follow on-screen instructions.
Step 3. Create a Virtual Directory dedicated to the tracking. By
default, eMill creates a virtual directory called "trk" under your default
web site. Select "Configure the eMill Message Tracking Later" to finish the
installation and configure the eMill Message Tracking manually.
Step 4. Enter the domain name and the user account dedicated to the tracking
(see Step 1). If the user account is not part of a domain, enter the
computer name it belongs to under "Domain".
Step 5. Click on Next to begin the installation.
Step 6. The eMill Message Tracking Redirector is now installed.
The last page gives you the settings you will have to fill out on eMill
