Starting a new script file

eMill provides server-side scripting features that you can optionally use to highly personalize the message content, or to integrate your email channel with other corporate software. The scripts are not sent along with the message, but executed by the server that uses them to generate some of the content. You can include the scripts into the message during the content creation or insert them afterwards. Creating your scripts independently from the content is useful if the content layout, graphics and the writing originate from another source (e.g. graphics or marketing departments).
A new script file is displayed in the text editor window. You can start editing the script.
Including the script into a project: Open the content file that will include the script from eMill's design window, and paste the script inside the insert script text area.
