You don't have a database


You can create a new mailing database if you do not have an existing one to link to. eMill will generate a Microsoft Access compatible database inside your project folder with preset fields. You can change those fields or add your own by editing database.mdb with the Data Source/Add or Remove Column menu option, or using Microsoft Access. Whenever modifying the database, you need to refresh the project in order to make eMill aware of changes (Project/Refresh menu option).
To add/edit a record from the receivers view, highlight the line and use the Project/Record menu or the records toolbox.
Preset Fields and scripts: When creating a new mailing database, the following fields are automatically created:
  • Email: Recipient's address.
  • Fax: Recipient's fax number.
  • Mobile: Recipient's mobile phone number.
  • FirstName: Recipient's first name.
  • LastName: Recipient's last name.
